| Originally I was meant to be working as assistant stage manager on this production. But due to the fact that there where not enough male actors to play all the parts I was asked to play one of the apostle as well as a number of extra parts such as “Old man by the fire” and “Leper 3″. I toughly enjoyed the opportunity to appear on stage again. |  |

Our Town Story, Salford |

| Sponsored by McDonalds, Our Town Story was a large pink building with seven 30m-tall fabric spikes, housing a stage and seating for 500 people. Over the year, days were allocated to the 211 UK education authorities and on these days schoolchildren (over 21,000 in total) performed something to do with the history or current situation of their area, and were asked to come up with a 20 minute show to be performed 3 times on their particular day.
I was selected to work on the project, both during the initial design stages and performance at the Dome. Working alongside resident technicians, I helped design the lighting and sound for our initial production in Salford, and appeared in both productions in Salford and The Dome. |
