What I’m doing about it

I will be getting the new iPhone on the 19^th even if I cannot get a deal for it (most people can’t, including people who work for Apple/O2, so I’m not holding my breath).

I’m selling my current iPhone to a very good friend of mine, so that helps offset the cost of buying a new one (The guy in O2 suggested £200 for a near mint black 16G).

I’m gonna get the new phone on the lowest tariff possible for 18 months. Keep the sim card in a safe place and use my existing sim in the new phone (you cannot transfer the number whilst you are still under contract). Once my first contract is over I’ll cancel it and transfer my number across to the new contract/sim then up the mins/texts and use that as my main phone.
